THE WANKYS 2nd studio album finally sees it’s release on the bands preferred format hard vinyl. This incredible violent recording includes 8 songs. Amongst them a re-recording of the barmy army sing-along song “ABC I Love Noise Punk” and the already classic “Hey Crusty Have a Fucking Bath”. This is the musical equivalent of pissing in an electricity socket and sees the band blending their noise attacks with incredibly catchy punk rock songs, all wrapped up with their trademark guitar fuzz attack. The Wank Mag contains much non-sense including band history, lyrics, guitar tab, photos, Wankerman comic strip and even a dot-to-dot penis drawing. This lavish package is all encased in a Kuro inspired envelope. [la vida es un mus]

bloody phoenix/black hole of calcutta split 10"
BLOODY PHOENIX deserve total fucking Excruciating Terror style grindcore .. probably since its ex members of EXCRUCIATING TERROR .. no fluff, no tech, no bullshit, just straight up grindcore from the reigning kinds of SoCal blasting .. BLACK HOLE OF CALCUTTA hails from chico, california and play brutal fast hc .. [tvg records]
battle of wolf 359/resurrectionists split 10"
Resurrectionists with ex members of the Apoplexy Twist Orchestra, Arsen aka... and few others play pulverizing grinding HC with touches of melodic chords amidst the chaos. This band is tight, very heavy, and has multiple vocalists. Very fast played drums and guitar, distorted bass riffs and desperate voices extol the end of the world. Once again Resurrectionists built a solid bridge between the banks of emoviolence and grindcore. If you allready got their LP you might have idea what you can expect. Battle Of Wolf 359 play brilliant screamo with female and male vocals. Heavy guitar riffs and harsh played drums lay into slow parts to break out in chaos again in the next moment. Very well done songwriting that will catch your ears if you are into music of this kind. The records comes in a nice silkscreened cover. [react with protest]

coffins/warhammer split 10"
It's time to merge two great realities of the music darker and sincere in circulation of today's underground. Teutonic WARHAMMER plays in maniacal way the ultra cult Hellhammer / Celtic Frost style since ages, as no one could do better. Growing up from both metal & punk roots, the Warhammer deathdoom brigade evolved their style in a darker and more obsessed version of the swiss gods. On the other side Japan's COFFINS are back on vinyl with their amazing stenchous and doomish death metal that distinguished them from a myriad of many other groups of similar genre nowadays. This release is limited to 666 copies. [btc records]

Both bands blurr out a massive hurricane of musical destruction. what you get is a total grindcore and powerviolence worship! German veterans CORROSIVE brings 6 new thrashcore tracks in the tradition of Slap A Ham Records, mostly fucking fast hardcore mixed with some slower, crawling heavy stuff. LIFE ENDS is powerviolence styled grindcore with nihilistic lyrics. If you dig the powerviolence parts of IRON LUNG and like german stop and go grindcore you can’t be wrong here. LIFE ENDS deliever 9 songs. [kink records]

"Loose Screws" pushes Extortion’s well established powerviolence sound to face ripping new extremes. [deep six records]
fazed 10inch
fazed are an extremely original hardcore punk band from germany .. treading in the same footsteps as harum scarum .. this becomes clear with the beautyful duel female vocals that harmonize and demonize their way through each song with such passion its impossible to dictate .. musically .. fazed is so much more heavier than the aforementioned band (like tragedy heavy folks) .. relying on mega ton heavy double bass driven crushcore and hard charging fast hardcore riffs .. when they raise the speedometer needle they are pretty much untouchable by most bands .. fucking amazing stuff and highly recommended .. [diverse]
fuck on the beach "i have never seen myself" picture 10inch
fuck on the beach .. the japanese supermasters of powerviolence .. actually its just hyper thrash with everyone in the band screaming into the microphone .. it is pretty damn funny and addictive .. this should make some people rip their hair out .. including a great cover from S.O.B. .. i like fuck on the beach .. i could listen them all the day .. [rsr]
grinding halt/drainland 10"
Grinding Halt from the Netherlands with ex members of Shikari and Last Mile crank out 3 songs somewher between His Hero Is Gone and canadian classics like Uranus, The Swarm or Left for Dead. Fast, heavy but catchy. Prett much what you’d expect from them if you’ve heard the Sprookjeshof lp. Drainland from Ireland with their first release. Two songs which remind us of Unruh and Dystopia. Sick, Heavy, Filthy. [react with protest]
her breath on glasses/khere split 10inch
her breath on glasses from the usa - ex saddest landscape, the last forty seconds - guitar and drums .. frantic and emotional emo punk .. and khere from italy .. screamo punk with chaotic parts buy yet melodic .. [sons of vesta]
kidcrash/coffin dancer split 10inch
another release from denovali, pitting apocalyptic sound sculptors coffin dancer with the aggressive sounds of kidcrash .. coffin dancer's recent album was a beguiling mix of neurosis dynamics married with slint structures and "pilgrims" is again heavy on the epic scale .. coffin dancer have a unique ability whereby they can weave between stunning heaviness and peaceful tranquility at the blink of an eye .. and they turn on the style for this release with ferocious guitar work, towering percussion and anguished vocals that combine to make a sound that could raise a building to the ground. on the flipside kidcrash's "waterweed" is a tenacious blend of posthardcore, stop starts and intricate guitar lines .. kidcrash are at their best when they let loose with crashing percussion, distortion and throat shredding vocals

magrudergrind "crusher" 10"
Magrudergrind's "crusher" 10" brings the band to a whole new level of brutality and variation, combining both their trademark grinding power violence as well as some experimentations with a doom esque anthem the Magrudergrind way and some DJs among the featurings, which involve the likes of Richard Johnson (Agoraphobic Nosebleed / ex-Enemy Soil) and Dom Romeo (Pulling Teeth) too. POWERCUP of Montreal, Canada start off this piece of vinyl with 13 crucial ear shattering grinders. Delivering some fast and heavy blasts over disgustingly gutteral vocals, with some thick fuzzed out guitars. To follow up the brutality are grind champions of Ohio. PIZZA HI FIVE lay down 12 fast pulverizing tunes that keep you on the edge of your seat straight through to the end. [witch bukkake records]
poostew "misericordia" picture 10inch

seein red/mihoen split 10"
The long awaited split of two bands that helped shape and define the Dutch DIY scene in the past 2 decades. MIHOEN! sadly called it quits in 2008, but SEEIN'RED are still going strong after 20+ years and long may they fucking continue. If there ever was a time where these kind of voices where needed, this is it and I know that whether still on stage or from the grave, these two will continue to inspire people to question and resist the right-wing political capitalist machine that is currently tearing the Netherlands and the world as a whole to pieces. Fittingly, with most of it's content aimed at the country's politicians and their collaborators, all lyrics on this record are in Dutch, underpinned throughout with the ultra fast and powerful blistering raw hardcore punk attack both have become known for. [trabuc records]
setiembreonce "no estamos a salvo" 10"
Fast and furious thrashcore from Uruguay, that reminds me of great bands like WHAT HAPPENS NEXT, SCHOLASTIC DETH or LOS CRUDOS. Not least due to the fact, that all songs are in spanish, but also a common insanity and a certain recklessness, while destroying everything that crosses their way. 12 tracks of energetic and political hardcore-punk that will blow your mind, if youre into the 2000s and labels like 625 THRASH. [spastic fantastic records]
shikari/seein red split 10"
From the original pressing, but with new artwork. Sein Red deliver some of their best songs up to date including a cover of Myth Of Freedom by Man Lifting Banner. Shikari have 4 songs on this in their hyperactive Uranus / Orchid style. Classic stuff. [diy]
stop it! "demo" 10inch
these songs were recorded a year or two before the self made maps full length on perpetual motion machine/robotic emprire .. their sound presents alot more cut and thrust with added diversity and ideas when compared to their most recent recordings .. harsh yet melodic hardcore .. that twists and turns rises and falls .. these songs are a bit more furious and harsh than the full length .. noisier and wilder .. more screaming than singing .. [life in a box]
swarrrm/dimlaia split 10"
one long song by dimlaia from the states. dimlaia produce music that is dark and depressing with soothing melodies and gloomy soundscapes. sonically dark and dramatic. it might resemble godspeed you black emporer and neurosis. on the flip side japans chaos grind gods give us three new fantastic tracks. great stuff by both bands. carl auge of his hero is gone and now playing bass in dimlaia has painstakingly produced all the artwork for the record. all copies come in solid white vinyl and beautiful gatefold jackets. [crucificados]
torche "in return" 10inch
this monstrous, seven song, 20 minute 10" pushes the torche's (ex floor) musical extremes even further as the poppy songs are far more catchy, and the heavy songs are infinitely more crushing .. the band continues to explore every side of their multi faceted personas, presenting their darkest, heaviest and most infectious work to date. "in return" is also robotic empire's most obsessively ridiculous packaging yet .. a beautiful full color john baizley design as a gatefold 10inch jacket with a printed innersleeve and a diecut on the inside front cover that holds the companion cd in place .. all housed in a thick mylar bag with a two color sticker .. [robotic empire]
trencher/esquilax split 10"
so here is another trencher record for all the diehard fans out there. this time it is a split 10" with esquilax. the record features the tracks from their famed peel session for radio 1 which was first broadcasted a year or so ago. 7 new crushing casio grind tracks by trencher which many consider to be their finest work. esquilax are birmingham, uk based and flit between a two piece full on drone act to a three man digital grind assault ala agoraphobic nosebleed. 15 songs by esquilax. all copies come on split colored black/clear vinyl. cover has an silver shining printing on matt black cardboard. absolutly awesome! [crucificados]
unholy grave "grind hell" 10"
Located beneath the busy streets of Shinjuku lies Tokyo’s most beloved hardcore punk venue Earthdom. It’s a dark, dungeon-like club notorious for hosting some of Japan’s greatest musical acts and the perfect stage for Nagoya’s legendary grinders Unholy Grave to unleash their latest assault upon. On Grind Hell, UG speed their way through 15 songs in just under 24 minutes, blasting eardrums with ferocious distortion from start to finish. This quality recording captures all of the raw glory of a top notch UG show with chaotic precision. [death agonies and screams]

varaus ss 10"
Take classic Scandinavian bands like Riistetyt, Mob47, Kaaos and the obvious Varaus and Crude S.S. then filter it through Japan and you have Varaus S.S.. Existing from 2003 until 2007 and fitting in well with the likes of Poikkeus, Laukaus and Persevere, Varaus S.S. recorded three demos and drunkenly gigged around. This 10" MLP contains tracks from the first two demos and the entire unreleased third demo plus unreleased live takes. Fans of Finnish, Swedish or any Scandi styled hardcore punk will not want to miss this! All records include 1 large and 1 Medium Varaus S.S. button and either a red or black sticker. [konton crasher records]
verse en coma "rialto" 10inch
somewhere between the present day and unfortunate endings of city of caterpillar, pg.99 and malady .. a lost recording was created but shelved for several years .. five dynamic tracks that collided with both artistic and industry red tape comprise the incredible verse en coma debut, Rialto .. these delays hinder absolutely nothing though, as the power and sheer intensity behind these songs is borderline overwhelming .. unique, passionate and soaring vocals compliment the effects laden screaming guitarwork and air tight rhythm section .. coupled with distinctive song structure and 5+ minute tracks .. ex members of pg.99, darkest hour, city of caterpillar .. [robotic empire]
who calls so loud 2x10inch + cd

Aghast are kind of the "other" pre-noise-not-music noise-not-music band, though they don't get as much respect as Lebenden Toten. A shame, because the band has continued to improve in all its years of existence and this LP is maybe their finest material yet. Absolutely essential. [distort reality]
agoraphobic nosebleed/apartment 213 split lp
Domestic Powerviolence is a split between Agoraphobic Nosebleed and Apartment 213 from Cleveland, Ohio. The album's cover art is an homage to Johnny Craig's cover art from the comic book The Vault of Horror's 35th issue, done by German artist Florian Bertmer. Agoraphobic Nosebleed's side is a departure from their usual micro burst grind style. It features two distorted basses, no guitars, slower tempos, longer running times and constant shifts in tempo and time signature. Guest vocals from Apartment 213's Steve Makita are featured on every track, along with those of ANb vocalist Jay Randall. The overall sound is similar to that of powerviolence legends Man Is The Bastard. Apartment 213's side is mostly rerecorded versions of previously released songs, dating as far back as their first 7" from the early 90's. [relapse]

10 tracks of classic swedish D-beat rawness. Excellent hardcore punk ala Anti Cimex, Shitlickers. [rawmantic disasters records]
antimob "s/t" lp
This is an absolutely crushing effort by this long running Greek hardcore band. The songs on this lp seem to flow as some kind of continuous hardcore journey or something it just keeps moving, never letting up. No copycatting, gimmicks, trend following or tribute bullshit on this tape. Just pure, honest, passionate hardcore punk with galloping drums, tense/memorable riffs, a gritty and convincing vocal attack and an underlying darkness lurking throughout every song. There is nothing pretentious or superficial here. If you are looking for some generic D-beat, noise-not-music “raw” punk, goth/darkwave throwback, INFEST worship, bands singing in languages they don’t know just ’cause their favorite bands sing in it, "anarcho" bands who aren’t anarchists, or any of the other stale, overdone sub genres of punk, look elsewhere. [stonehenge records]
bastard noise "a culture of monster" lp
THE BASTARD NOISE follows a first quarter 2010 release of "THE RED LIST" (split issue alongside THE ENDLESS BLOCKADE) with a full length "magnum opus" titled "A CULTURE OF MONSTERS". A paramount product of composition, sonic-rendering and package, this second volume of BASS/PERCUSSION/ELECTRONICS structured work realizes the full, true power of "THE SKULL" as a critical force in contemporary musical expression. Here "spun steel girder" virtuoso ERIC WOOD and Trogotronic "electronic ace" W T NELSON are joined by original MAN IS THE BASTARD master drummer JOEL CONNELL for what could become the most interesting T.B.N combination to date following the departure of DANNY WALKER (INTRONAUT/PHOBIA/MURDER CONSTRUCT) and his unmatched performance in the previous lineup. catheter "" lp
After years of angst-ridden anticipation from a ravenous fanbase, Denver's grindcore gargantuans CATHETER unleash their first full-length album since 2005, celebrating 15 years of perpetuating their brutal 303-style grind. The follow-up to their 2005-released sophomore album, "Dimension 303", amidst an incredible arsenal of split releases, EPs and demos over the years, CATHETER's new opus is so obliteratingly heavy that upon first listen you'll quickly forgive them for the delay since the last album, and immediately tear your own head off in utter joy. [dropout records]
cavity "laid insignificant/crawling" lp
finally available on vinyl .. the bacteria sour cd and the 7" on one lp .. cavity (with members of floor, torche) were one of the leading sludge outfits in the 90s .. they together with bands such as eyehategod, bongzilla created this whole sludge thing .. extracted from the dank and murky swamps of south florida, laid insignificant is brought forth anew, resplendent in all it is misanthropic glory .. while the climate of any Cavity album could be considered hostile, laid insignificant has proven to be the most unhinged and ferocious occupant in the cavity stable in the 10 years subsequent to it's original release .. with added emphasis on faster tempos, layered chordal discordance and an overall air of frantic desperation, this may stand if not as cavity's best album then certainly as their most furious and scathing

chaos destroy "collection not collection" lp
30-song, 40-minute noise-core epic by these Washington, DC-area punxes, and it's one of the most over-the-top noise-core releases I've heard yet. There is absolutely nothing resembling tone or melody coming out of the guitars... it's just a wash of white noise that honestly sounds more like a hair dryer than any sort of musical instrument; however, the bass is straightforward and extremely melodic a la the Swankys, which makes these songs hang together over the nasty vocals which are pretty much a dead ringer for flexi-era Aburadako. Something this extreme isn't going to be for everyone, but those who get it will flip for this. [katorga works]
cheerleaders of the apocalypse "discography" lp
crushing metalgrind massacre in the vein of systral or moerser .. everything these dudes ever recorded on one nice lp with evil looking artwork .. includes the 7inch, split 7inch with hokus and the songs of their unreleased 12inch .. [react with protest]

coffins/xxxmaniak "the cracks of doom" split lp
"The Cracks Of Doom" places one of the best death metal bands in the world, the mighty Coffins, alongside hard-hitting grind upstarts XXX Maniak. The two songs from Coffins, including a blinding Cathedral cover, are worth the price of admission alone. Seriously, these guys can do no wrong and every single, album, EP and split they put their names to should be hunted down. Strangely, their pair of laid back, smoking tunes paying worthy homage to some of the best death metal of the 80's. As for the Maniaks: in the best tradition of extreme death/grind, we get high speed short, sharp shocks, churned out with incredible spontaneous intensity, complemented by a shitload of appropriate and often hilarious samples, which add extra charm to the steaming pile of political incorrectness. [haunted hotel records]

confuse "hate war no war fucking war" lp
Hailing from Kyushu, Japan from the early 80's CONFUSE is synonomous with Japanese Hardcore across the world. Inventors of the 'raw punk' approach, an hyper distorted version of the classic '82 brit punk formula, they ended influencing a whole plethora of latter European hardcore bands like Extreme Noise Terror or Doom, and the whole 90's "...crust" scene. This discography LP features tracks from the "Nuclear Addicts" 7" from 1984, the "Contempt The Authority And Take Off The Lie" 7" from 1985, the "Spending Loud Night" 7" recorded in 1983, their tracks from the "Sexual Confuse" compilation released in 1985, and the "Stupid Life" 12" from 1989. converge "axe to fall" lp
since forming in 1990, CONVERGE have climbed to the top of the heap of bands playing noisy, metallic hardcore, singlehandedly blazing a path that hundreds of bands would attempt to follow. true to themselves and their art, as always, no matter the cost, "axe to fall" continues to push relentlessly forward, much like a shark that needs to always keep swimming to survive. Where "no heroes" was a refinement and broadening of hostilities declared on previous assaults such as "jane doe", "axe to fall" returns to the more amrep-inspired noisecore abrasions of "you fail me" while also updating and making vital the thrash influences that defined earlier CONVERGE efforts. "axe to fall" could be CONVERGE's most straightforward album, but refuses to dull down, with all of the same mind-blowing riffs, incredible drumming and howled vocals fans of the band have come to love. [deathwish]
corrupted "paso inferior" lp
corrupted rerecorded and remixed this record in 2002 .. side one is like the theme from the cd just it is like about 15 minutes short .. and in my opinion it sound much better than the orginal from 1997 .. the b side which still reads as 1 track of the LP but feels more like a second track is about 16 minutes and is more heavy spheric without vocals and there is anything like that on the CD fom 1997 .. japanese underground icons corrupted create droning, sludgy, painfully slow death/doom metal and ambient music .. this is not a vinyl press of the cd from 1997 .. it is a new recorded and remixed album from corrupted .. the lp comes with a black on black cover

crazy spirit "s/t" lp
Here is the long awaited debut from our beloved Crazy Spirit. Fans will not be disappointed, haters will hate. There are no new tricks here and the band does what it does well better than it has before, pulling out some of the most earsplitting, wonderful riffs it has busted out to date. The album flows as naturally as the trademark gallop carries you from the muddy, audio sample in its beginning, to moody end. While the album sounds worlds better than previously recorded it maintains all of the essentials - strictly 8-track recordings, same gremlin, same round bass tone, and so on. Really excellent songs that successfully take the writhing CS sound and serve up stuck-in your brain hooks. Fucking enjoy. [toxic state records]
criaturas "oscuridad eterna" lp
Their 7" was killer and they kick fucking ass live. The sound on this is bigger than on the EP, the drums crush your puny skull, the guitars wail, soloing around your ears like bloody razor wire, and the screeming banshee vocals never let it up for a minute. They’re from Texas, with the sound of classic sung in spanish hardcore, at the same time being totally original. [trabuc records]

Distort the north! Swedish raw punk assault! Dispose with distorted D-beat raw punk. Kranium with classic scandi raw noise. [crucificados]
drainland/trenches split lp
Damn! a split with epic proportions. I've had the recordings from both bands for some time now and when it arrived here at our HQ i realized again how amazing both sides are. Drainland offer 4 songs of noise drenched hardcore. Slow, fast, heavy and powerful. For fans of Unruh, Noothgrush and Dystopia. Trenches on the other side come with their first output on vinyl. One song that lasts for about 14 minutes. I guess they could be best compared to a mixture between Ire and Isis (Celestial period). Riffing, groove, dark and just simply great. [de graanrepubliek]
dropend/warvictims split lp
this one is an absolute killer release. finally warvictims with new recordings from 2012, their best material after shitloads of releases. swedish dis-noise with members of paranoid, electric funeral, brottskod 11, giftgasattack, human waste etc etc etc. last years minitour in germany was the first and probably last time to watch them live, it was a blast!!! dropend hail from japan and play typical noisy d-beat crasher crust thrash. fantastic earbleeding noisecore. their best material after the demo 7". this release comes in two different cover designs, both including picture innersleeve. electric funeral "dbeat noise attack/make a change" lp
Debut LP by WARVICTIMS member that just loves DISCLOSE. Both 09 demo tapes compiled here, expect 16 raging distorted songs close to GIFTGAS ATTACK. This is some brutal distort and played exactly perfect it is infectious noise that you cannot stop listening to. The lyrics hold up as good as the noise with songs about Consumerism, the training for the mentality of war, and how we are slaves to TV and the internet. This is some very solid stuff and I can see them becoming a strong element of distort D-Beat in the next few months with their releases beginning to start to line up. If you like Noise punk get this tape and their first and everything else they release. [shogun records]
embalming theatre "the world is a stage...for murder" lp

Their debut release was a split album with Chaos U.K., and although there were musical similarities, ENT, along with Napalm Death, were already in the process of twisting traditional punk influences into altogether different shapes. All the conventions of crust are played out on this release: simple, punky riffs, fast d-beat drumming, and shout/screeching vocals. The songs are short, the songs are simple, the songs are just fast, more distorted punk music when you get down to it. [farewell]
fall of efrafa "owsla" lp
Fucking hell, this is one of the best records I got my hands on lately! Hard hitting, yet melodic and epic crusty HCpunk with a Cello and throaty vocal style from Brighton UK. They really know how to create a desperate and aggressive athmosphere at the same time. This band delivers their music with a lot of variation in speed which makes the songs memorable and entertaining which is hardly the case nowadays. Lyrix based upon the book "Watership Down". [alerta antifascista]

Folkeiis is a hardcore punk band from Nagoya, Japan. Mauser toured Japan with them for 2 weeks, and they were one of the best bands we saw over there. Even on shows with Framtid and Warhead, these young men put on incredibly powerful and dynamic sets. This is a 12" collection of their first ep (Hell Kaaos Night, Answer Records, 2009) and various compilation and split appearances. While their newer songs have an almost heavy metal Zouo sound, these early recordings are unhinged noise-punk always on the brink of destruction. [vinyl rites]

iron lung "live at supersonic" lp
Iron Lung's 2009 performance at Supersonic Festival is now available on vinyl. For those uninitiated, IRON LUNG are a two man band from Seattle, WA that specialize in a brand of audio violence. Bearing marks of grind, thrash, and even old school hardcore, they are one of the handful of bands that have applied new and innovative approaches (arrangements, chords structures, thematic unities, etc) to their underground musical machinations. Their rumbling, yet raging, take on CROSSED OUT meets SWANS power violence is medically thematic in both lyrical and musical delivery. With the precision of a surgeon and the devastation of an unchecked disease IRON LUNG wreak havoc on any listener smart enough to tune them in and turn them up. It blows my mind that a band can sound both so primitive and so precise at the same time. [capsule]
iron lung/walls/pig heart transplant "public humilation" lp
This, first and foremost, is NOT a split. Recorded live at The Vera Project in Seattle on Halloween night 2008, this was a one-time performance by all three bands collaborating as one super band. Six members in total. The sounds recorded this day were deranged, devastating and truly scary. New arrangements of three IRON LUNG songs, three WALLS songs and two PHT noise pieces. On top of that, we wrote two brand new songs and threw in a cover just to spice things up. Twenty nine minutes worth of total noise and depression sound. Absolutely crushing. [iron lung records]
isterismo "folia verso l'interno" lp
Belonging to the generation of Japanese kids that started bands in the early 2000s inspired by the legends of Japanese 1990s hardcore punk such as Gloom, Disclose, CFDL and Frigöra, Isterismo is today one of the most important contemporary Japanese hardcore punk bands and one that continues to firmly put Japan at the very top of the worlds hardcore punk scenes. The one word that best describes this recording is not noise, as many may expect, but finesse. You will hear finesse in the expert guitar play, with subtle solos and riffage hidden in the high distortion and messy chaos, drum rolls are complex while the bass guitar is crisp and loud. For sure, this is the most important Japanese hardcore punk LP since the Kriegshög LP. [la vida es un mus]
isterismo "vittima del confuzione: 2005–2010" lp
discography of everything released so far by the amazing japanese punks that worship Wretched so much they sing in Italian. [540 records]

kill the client "cleptocracy" lp
KILL THE CLIENT play grindcore the way it was meant to be played: fast, loud, and angry as fuck. The 18 tracks that comprise "cleptocracy" are so mind-bogglingly violent that you really begin to wonder if there is anyone out there more pissed off than these guys. "cleptocracy" takes thrashing riffs, blistering double bass and manic vocals to create a sound reminiscent of NASUM, BRUTAL TRUTH and early NAPALM DEATH. Well…there isn't. This album will definitely not disappoint. [rescued from life]
killed in action "we ruin fun" lp
killed in action have destroyed the hardcore scene littering the midwest landscape with a trail of mutilated thrash fans, burned out house parties and torn up punk clubs .. killed in action use a powerviolence foundation and smother it in old school crossover hardcore, new school fast as hell thrash and a very large blast of sarcastic, ugly hatred that fuels their never ever ending quest to ruin everyones good time .. fans of municipal waste, crucial unit, voetsek and capitalist casualties will be in awe of this incredible new recording .. [six weeks]
kromosom "8 tracks" lp
Rampaging hardcore noize from these Australian fanatics. This band takes the Disorder/Confuse style of hardcore and cranks up the distortion in the style made famous by bands like Gloom and Disclose. Has the same hard charging power and wall of raw noise of bands like D Clone, Perdition and Nerveskade but with a solid and powerful hardcore punk backbone that recalls the masters of Scandinavian hardcore from years past. Some bands attempting this style start to fall apart and just sound like a barrage of senseless noise. Kromosom holds it down with solid and punishing songs directing, yes, channeling the energy of the noise and distortion in crushing riffs instead of pure white noise. [dtakt & råpunk]
kylesa "static tension" lp
For fans of Baroness, Cult Of Luna, Isis and Mastodon. Static Tensions also sees Kylesa further progressing with their songwriting, both in terms of the psychedelia suggested on the Time Will Fuse... LP and the sheer brute force and memorable structures they've become known for over the course of their 3 albums, split albums and EPs. The at times blackened death metal feel of Said And Done and the piano-laced, middle-eastern tinged Running Red highlight this diversity of sound, yet at all times it remains distinctly Kylesa. The percussion heavy Unknown Awareness is perhaps the most emotionally heavy tune the band has ever written. Comes with 8 page LP size booklet![la familia]
l antietam lp
this is a real young band from the states .. after recording their new songs at will orchids dead air studio we got an 8 song debut album that reminds me on bands as reversal of men, circle takes the square with a lot of breakdowns and melodies that are so typical for all those mid 90ies emo bands without losing any energy and anger .. you can call it screamo if you want but with a lot heart in it .. limited to 500 copies .. loma prieta "same" lp
short and sweet .. thats how i would describe loma prietas "last city" .. this oakland, ca band plays speedy hardcore/screamo jams with impressive technicality, running through time signatures and epic melodies with incredible ease .. as the mathematical riffs swirl around cymbal crashing and rapid fire rhythms, the howling vocals provide the emotional release for all the tension thats built up .. the occasional piano melody and gentle guitar parts help balance things out as well .. [react with protest]

lr "exile" lp
Exile is the first solo Album from LR who is known from various tape releases throughout the Posh Isolation history, as well as part taker in numerous projects and lately his collaborative work with Puce Mary. Exile has something to offer, some amount of truth to it that has not been found to the same degree in any of his previous work. Stretching the recordings for "Exile" to almost two years of work leaves it on a different level of importance. Fragile synth compositions, heavy drones and piercing vocals leaves an eerie album of sincere industrial. 8 tracks all based on the poem of the same title, written by the jewish German writer H. Sahl during his lifes exile. One piece for each line of the poem and one for the title. [posh isolation]

After spinning this massive slab of vinyl, you'll agree that angry, grinding crust is Vancouver, BC's finest export. the production is excellent with a clear, realistic drum sound, a burly distorted bass tone, a hellish array of ominous, fast crust riffage, and vocals that are totally blown out and pissed off. 14 new tracks, along with a well-executed Capitalist Casualties cover ("Diamonds and Warheads"). This LP is both ripping and memorable, its catchy, and brutal as fuck! [haunted hotel records]

Here is the poor man's description of the record: "Tampa's Merchandise returns with a revamped sound, harnessing the most goth elements of post-punk, shoegaze, and Drag City into what surely is the undergound pop record of the year. Despite being drenched in discordant feedback and white noise, (Strange Songs) In the Dark still manages to enrapture with its urgency, melancholy, and, ultimately, its unrivaled beauty." - ex Cult Ritual, Slave Scene and so on. morne/warprayer split lp
The band that stands before you known as Morne started with many trials and tribulations. It began back in 2005, and even though there were many interested individuals, only one lineup had the dedication and perseverance to make the band a reality. The band features Milosz (ex-FILTH OF MANKIND) on guitar, Jeff (ex-DISRUPT, GRIEF) also on guitar, Max on bass and Kevin on drums (both from various Boston bands). Morne draws it's influence from powerful, intense bands such as AMEBIX, NEUROSIS and SACRILEGE. The undertones of these bands can certainly be heard in Morne's sound, but they create an atmosphere all their own. WARPRAYER features members of Ripcord, Dumbstuck, Gurkha... and its crust as fuck! [alerta antifascista]
mörser "pure scum" lp
i don not think the germans of mörser need an introduction .. it is been a while since they released something new though .. in 2002 they released the mini cd scum .. the soundtrack for a comic with the same title .. they were supposed to release another soundtrack for a comic called pure but this release got postponed until it did not get released at all .. now there is Pure Scum, which contains 5 new tracks (the songs meant for the comic Pure and 4 remastered songs (from the sold out comic scum) and some extra multimedia (trailers, comics...) .. the songs still have the trademark mörser sound .. it is heavy, mean, brutal and 100% metal and the two singers still grunt and scream like madmen .. the new pure songs have a better production than the old ones which does not make them sound less brutal .. m.v.d. "war species" lp
M.V.D. is a band from Berlin that formed in mid '80s and became known for its brand of crust-hardcore. The 14 tracks on "War Species" is everything you'd want in the perfect old-schoolish crust album - relentlessly crunching, crust edged riffs, a precision guided jackhammer of a rhythm section, and pissed-off and in your face vocals assault.
nagasaki nightmare/blunt split lp
crust dbeat monsters from italy and spain .. an incredible and powerful crust attack .. political, intense, emotional, amazing .. last record for blunt .. [sons of vesta]
narcosis "romance" lp
it is narcosis. literally one of the fastest bands on the planet. 18 songs, 21 minutes. no messing about. over the last couple of years though the band have upped the speed another ridiculous amount and this is the end product. an album that literally blows all of the competition out of existence. songs smash past your eyes before you get chance to focus, vocals rip you to bits and guitar interchanges send you dizzy as they start new section before you even realize they have stopped the previous one. if you do not know of the narcosis machine then comparisons can be drawn to discordance axis and so on. narcosis look set to finally join the english grindcore elite alongside such legends as napalm death and carcass with the release of their sophomore album "romance". to say this lp is brutal, uncompromising and downright nasty would be an understatement. "romance" is an astonishing piece of work. this is the aural equivalent of being battered repeatedly around the head with a blunt instrument very very quickly. a frenzied, no holds barred delivery coupled with nice, bleak, misanthropic lyrics. sheer brilliance! [crucificados]
nashgul "El Dia Después Al Fin De La Humanidad" lp
The new NASHGUL "El Dia Después Al Fin De La Humanidad" LP is out now. nazi dust "wretched hour" lp
Certain cities make for incubators of specific kinds of music and Tampa, like Detroit, makes for ugly music. NAZI DUST is a hardcore punk band pulling from the nastier moments of 80's Boston hardcore, mostly SIEGE and SSD. Their recording is raw, their drums are pounding, their guitar and bass are buzzsaws of treble and distortion and the vocals are spit with an unreal amount of venom. Violent music from young men in a violent city. [vinyl rites]
needful things "dead point" lp
great grind from czech .. real grind core brutalizer driven by intestines lungs stomaks and kidneys from napalm death, nasum and the likes .. 15 songs in 32 minutes .. devastating sound .. destroying and moshing conception .. thats this piece .. [power it up]
neon blud "b girls" lp
Neon Blud's new 12" marks a new era for the band. While the influence is still present, Neon Blud relies less on Sonic Youth-worship than on that tape. Instead, the band opens up their aural palette to include a variety of newer influences. Neon Blud certainly divided fans of their past bands with what they were doing. B Girls won't change that, but I think that it's a better introduction to the band and is far more representative of what the band is doing these days. For those not especially moved by Whipps, I beg you to listen to B Girls. It's fantastic. [drugged conscience]
nerveskade "s/t" lp

Twenty tracks of depraved punk violence and neurosurgical torture. This roaring zenith in NETJAJEV SS’s storied career of interstellar blasphemy was unfortunately missed by most the first time around. 15 Tracks of uncompromising sociopolitical insanity from new mexico .. noisear has been around for about some years .. would describe the music as technical grindcore as grind goes into bands like discordance axis, assuck, lethargy, 324, rotten sound but closer to traditional grindcore .. excellent sound .. a must have for all grindcore freaks .. [rsr records]
noothgrush "s/t" lp
Crusty torturous doom, truly refined in it's execution. Unlike the later releases that defined the sludge genre, this album is leaning more towards the psychedelic side with clean, depressing vocals in symbiosis with noise and moog synths- existing on the territory between WINTER and HAWKWIND. NOOTHGRUSH have recorded these songs shortly after the band was conceived in 1994 and were released only on a handful of cassettes. From the groundbreaking 12" split with JIHAD from 1994 this is one of the darkest and most brutal sounding bands to ever come out of Detroit since Negative Approach. A true hidden classic that blends the speed of early grindcore with a painful hardcore precision. No fucking 90’s emo on this ripper! It includes the only recording done by this band featuring tracks that are long out of print on various comps. (Lengua Armada records) and the split LP (Council Records/ Abilogy Records). pg.99 "document #8" lp
arguably one of the most important punk rock albums of the last decade .. virginias PG.99 shine their brightest here in the finest 27 recorded minutes of their much heralded existence .. with a plethora of releases only rivaled by their staggering eight member status, PG.99 managed to amalgamate almost every heavy music genre into a tornado of punk rock fury .. not punk in a mohawk mania sense, but with the unbridled raw spirit of youthful rebellion and passion .. as one of the only recent bands to exist with a true sense of danger, document #8 is PG.99’s opus to aggressive and creative music .. [robotic empire]
phobia/extinction of mankind split lp
those two band need no introduction, both active since the early 90's they've continued developing their sound throughout the years and we are proud to release them. [torture garden]
pollution "nasty dna" Lp
Pollution are a raw hardcore outfit featuring members of Unearthly Trance. Their debut album entitled "Nasty.DNA" was previously only available on CDr format, but Feast Of Tentacles stepped up and released this ugly sucker on vinyl as well. Pollution are a harsh, raw, dissonant hardcore outfit with some AmRep influences who remind me of classics such as Born Against and Rorschach. [feast of tentacles]
poostew "plutocracy" lp
vinyl version of the highly awaited follow up to 2005's "struggle" .. they have increased the speed again and deliver 14 high explosive deathgrind tracks .. what started as rough straight grindcore became to a sophisticated mixture of brutal grindcore, infernal death metal and well placed harmonies as well as they never forget about their hardcore origin .. their debut "struggle" convulsed the extreme music scene with the stunning mixture of no-compromise grindcore, well placed melodies and the hardcore approach but "plutocracy" will just destroy everything on its way .. [institut für mentale hygiene]
psudoku "space grind" lp
PARLAMENTARISK SODOMI side poject! SPACE (THE FINAL FRONTIER) IN THE FUTURE (2012): A rift in the space-time continuum opens up a wormhole in Trondheim, Norway. The local political one-man grindcore band Parlamentarisk Sodomi disappears into a higher dimension, warping directly into an alternate world line where the band (now called PSUDOKU) records music from the future. Using 2012 technology, this music is continuously sent back in time to our age, 2011. A chain of sub-space events are occuring in a parallell multiverse. BOOOOOOM. Imagine PARLAMENTARISK SODOMI on acid! Insane psycho-space-grind that has to be heard to be understood. [crucificados]]

Raein has just released their new full length LP, Sulla Linea D'orizzonte Tra Questa Mia Vita e Quella Di Tutti. [narshardaa]
sakatat "bir devrin sonu" lp
Like Singapore’s Wormrot, the band plays as a trio and are heavily influenced by the early recordings of Napalm Death. This one's an absolute, complete scorcher! Such a sharp guitar sound, incisive riffs that could shred and mince through your flesh, rapidfire drumming going at demented speeds, ultra-tight snare skin poundings that feel like stabs through the ear-drum. These maniacal throat splitting shrieking vocals give the coup de grâce. A guaranteed killing. Probably the best sound production the band has ever benefitted from too. This is intense grindcore song writing at its best, brutal blastbeats, breath taking breakdowns, fast, fast, fast. This stuff ranks up there with anything by Wormrot or Magrudergrind! [bog records]
salome "same" lp
drug induced and alcohol fueled heavy stoner slugdecore with thundering guitars, pounding drums and eerie painful screamed or grunted vocals from a female vocalist. SALOME take the obligatory SABBATH influences in their riffing and transcend them into a monotonous, but no way lethargic monster that tends between pure hate and some hidden melancholy. think of 13, BURNING WITCH or SOURVEIN as references. actually unbelievable that it is only guitar and drums building this massive wall of sound and that it is an airy lady having this ugly voice from somewhere deep below. This shit is goddamn HEAVY!
salvation "mortality interaction" lp
Masterwork of modern HC, the second LP by Pennsylvania's SALVATION finds their sound sunk to the bottom of a mental abyss. Jettisoning all peripheral elements from previous efforts, what remains is a stark and minimal presentation with vocals so ferocious that when combined with the controlled bleeding of the riff structures erects an aural tension that is nearly unbearable. This edition features a lavish single pocket gatefold sleeve and 22" x 30" fold out poster that showcase artist/vocalist Matt Adis' incredible ink renderings and lyrics, pressed on heavy deep red marble vinyl. [youth attack]
sanitys dawn "chop chopper" lp

All tracks taken from the Crossed Out Twice compilation CD. The cover has excellent 10 pages of fantastic PUSHEAD artwork! Limited to 400 copies.
sete star sept "revision of noise" lp
Avantgarde grinding noise from Japan. This is an absolute mess in the very best way. Sete Star Sept’s form of grinding chaos sounds refreshingly different, taking its cues from classics of the old and new schools of grind and noisecore, but with bizarre song un-structures that give things an almost organic, improvised feel. This is not to say that it’s loose and unfocussed, as the interplay between the three players (including drummer Kiyasu, who was in the first incarnation of The Endless Blockade) is totally locked down, with them meeting at crucial stop-start moments in suitably tight fashion. These vicious slashes of sound are almost too much to take in, with an inordinate amount packed in to 15 minutes, but it’s basically a pretty amazing exercise in humans making as inhuman a racket as possible. [fuck yoga records]
sexdrome "grown younger" lp
Long-awaited repress of the 8 song debut 12" from Copenhagen, Denmark's finest. Tense, unfurling, impulsive; this young quartet displays an awesome power seldom captured. sex/vid "communal living" lp
SEX/VID's debut full length. this 8 new tracks featuring the band's 2nd guitarist are easily their best material since the debut 7". "communal living" has a great, clear recording and the songs have that weird DIE KREUZEN and VOID quality that made the 1st 7" so great. in other words, you really need this record! definitely will exceed all your expectations. raw, noisy, devastating music! must have for fans of Cult Ritual, Aerosols, Salvation. [dom records]

[vinyl rites]
schizophasia "1000" lp
he first full length release from obscure Canadian noisepunk rebels Schizophasia. On this recording they continue their quest into the not yet fully explored barren wasteland between NOISE and PUNK, resulting in a sound that, compared to their previous 7” releases on SMRT and Damaging Noise, is both more P-U-N-K and more catchy in an early 80s British kind of way with driving bass-lines and snotty vocals. 14 tracks of continuosly recorded noisy-as-fuck punk hits!!! For fans of everything from FLUX and DISORDER to CONFUSE and GAI. [smrt records]
schizophasia "3000" lp

shokei "painkiller" lp
three people and for sure they are inspired by the likes of shellac, unwound and off minor .. it really surprised me when i listened to them the first time to hear steve albini is not in the band .. but no i should stop talking shit .. they do not sound like any rip off or what ever at all .. just groovy, tight and amazing .. this time a long player with some new songs, newly recorded old tunes and even some remixes .. still groovy hardcore .. [narshardaa records]

[drugged conscience]

Siege was one of those more than awesome hardcore bands from Boston that influenced hundreds and hundreds of bands over the years. These 9 tracks were recorded in 1984 at Radio Beat in Boston, MA. This is a classic. A must have for anyone interested in 80s hardcore. Infest, Drop Dead, Heresy, Ripcord… all of these bands were completely influenced by Siege. [deep six records]

six brew bantha "same" lp
Six Brew Bantha is an vicious grindcore, powerviolence band from Victoria, B.C., Canada. They seriously play some of the most violent and destructive sounding noises you will ever hear out of Canada, comparing highly to the likes of other fast as fuck and powerviolence, fastcore leaning noise, such as Insect Warfare, Suppression, Gride, Lycanthrophy or Noisear, as well as sounding pretty similar to newer bands like Parlamentarisk Sodomi, Pizza Hi-Five, The Afternoon Gentlemen, Suffering Mind, California Love, In Disgust, etc. Blazing speeds, unbelievably spastic song structures, tempo changes, pure unadulterated and relentless grinding brutality. [witch bukkake records]
skit system "stigmata" lp
their 3rd full length .. dark and menacing swedish crustcore from the masters .. first recordings to feature micke (of martyrdöd) on second guitar .. this lp takes one step deeper into the dark realm that skitystem has created .. many of the songs are slower than you would expect but with an intense power that grips you from the first listen .. it is hard to pin this band down for sticking to a formula since they were the pioneers of this style .. swedish käng with a touch of metal influence .. heavy and brutal [havoc records]
slices "cuising" lp
After two devastating 7"s, SLICES returns with nine cuts of raw, noisy weird punk played in the truest Pittsburgh fashion. Something in the air there makes these bad men twist perfectly normal rock ideas into a hulking torturous sound. An absolute killer. I do believe this album to be the crown jewel of the Iron Lung label. Do yourself a favor and get this. Full color sleeve, bad man mask and lyric sheet. for fans of Cult Ritual. [iron lung records]

snowblood "3rd" 2xlp
Snowblood were one of the greatest bands ever to come out of Scotland and the UK. Their live shows were legendary including immense passion, ridiculoid amounts of NANG bass, utterly crushing guitars, insane vocals and exploding gear. Their 3rd record has recently been released and having had a rip of this for quite some time I can tell you it is incredible. For those of you that know Snowblood and have the 1st and 2nd records, imagine the PERFECT melding of the best bits from those and you have it exactly and then some. If you like Neurosis, Mogwai or post-metal, post-rock in general then buy this record. [superfi records]

In 1990, S.O.B. found international recognition with their split EP with the british band Napalm Death, who are also pioneers of this genre with bands like Terrorizer and mostly Repulsion. This record is a compilation incl. rare studio-tracks from the 80's from these Japanese thrash-core giants. Limited white vinyl!
social circkle "city shock" lp
if you have heard their previous 7"es and comp tracks, then you know they are an all around solid hardcore punk band. i think it is safe to say they have outdone themselves here. as for the tunes present here, they have combined melody with speed on all the right levels. you can hear late 70's punk rock from all around the globe as well as intense early 80's HC in their sound. it is another winner from SOCIAL CIRCKLE, and you won't be let down. [hardware records]
the south/hypatia split lp
this split lp features 6 new songs from hypatia and 5 new tracks from the south .. hypatia features members of gate crashers and play fast melodic hardcore with a sound like mouthpiece and early statue .. the south play chaotic hardcore with some melody thrown in that is sort of mix between avail and in/humanity .. comes in very well looking hand screened covers .. Devoured features the first official release of older tracks like "Logic" and "Abyss", as well as heretofore unheard cuts including "Ejaculation" and "Greed and Disgust". It all falls somewhere in the limbo between hardcore and metal: Citizen's Arrest, Ringworm, Sarcofago, Hellhammer, etc. [painkiller records]

The first in a series of vinyl represses of the long-sold out SPAZZ Lps. Here we got CRUSH KILL DESTROY, SPAZZ's swan-song recorded back in 1998 and released by Slap A Ham Records. Mastered from the original recording, this LP comes with a full color cover and poster insert. [625 records]
spazz "la revancha" lp
Next up in the series of legitimate SPAZZ reissues is their "La Revancha" LP originally released on Sound Pollution in 1995. This LP marked a new point in SPAZZ's development - they had found their signature sound and tried to push this to its extreme. 20+ minutes of crazed Bay Area power violence with a CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER cover to boot. sqrm "rodeo" lp
Debut meltdown by Western Mass heroes, SQRM. A primal 3 piece assault that unhinges at every moment, with songs that quake and drone like a pressure cooker ready to burst. Intensifying their sound with a much fuller and more realized production, the band charges through 10 tracks of venomous, sexually repulsed tirades aiming to tear apart every last hope for humanity. Include a decimated reworking of their opus "Fuck To Survive" along with their version of local anthem "Upsidedown Cross". Recorded and mixed by Chris Corry and DFJ of MIND ERASER fame at the infamous Pain Cave with unforgettable artwork photographed by LA legend Cali deWitt. [youth attack]
state poison "s/t" lp
these Frenchies sleep cuddled next to their Disorder records, passed out with a gluebag in hand. I would align this with SWANKYS or early CONFUSE, before lumping it in with the crasher crust scene. Overall, STATE POISON has enough ineptness, ridiculousness, catchiness, and creativity to pull this style off. [kick rock]
straight edge kegger "hurt" lp
This is Schwarzenegger era hardcore. After tons of releases with bands like Knifethruhead, Unholy Grave, Capitalist Casualties, Disrupt...etc...etc this female fronted thrash attack from the dirty streets of Fresno, Ca have finally recorded their 2nd LP. sudor "ganas de vomitar" lp
After the 4-track EP and the split LP with Crimen de Estado, this is the first album by Sudor. Strongly inspired by Discharge and Finnish hardcore in the music, but with a very special humour sense that reminds me HHH, Sudor delivers in 13 minutes 10 songs of raw hardcore full of anger but also with young attitude. They are the best hardcore punk band nowadays in Spain, so you will hardly find anything punker than this. [solo para punks]
suffering luna "s/t" lp
These are the recordings that pushed hardcore music farther than ever into L.A.'s anxiety ridden, misanthropic inner city world of psychedelics and hard drugs. First new release in a decade. sutekh hexen "luciform" lp
Finally, the debut LP from California's Sutekh Hexen is upon us. Entitled Luciform, this LP will destroy your place of residency, so prepare to be homeless. Everything the band has done has been great, but this album is miles beyond their previous works. Droning, destructive, cacophonous atmospheres surround the wall of noise, which stands on a solid base of catchy, heavy riffs and screamed, face-melting vocals. There is a cosmic aura to the madness at hand on this LP; you'll feel yourself awash in the remnants of a dying star, about to be sucked in to the black hole - but you'll never get there, so your body and mind will have to cope with being torn apart for eternity. It feels as if Sutekh Hexen's previous work was leading us here all along, building up to finally present this blackened opus of primal darkness. Limited to 350 copies. [wands records]

[jennifer grind records]
takaru/assistant/this ship will sink split lp
The Assistant give us their final song on this split, delivering a 7-minute epic of the same intense and varied hardcore they’ve become known for. With three vocalists and shifting from mathy and technical to quiet and mellow and then to all out crushing intensity, this record has enough ideas to fill and entire album and leaves the listener drained yet energized. It’s a fitting and beautiful epilogue to this bands inspiring existence. This Ship follows with another song recorded at the same time as their debut ep that builds on the heavier parts of The Assistant and is just as shifting and technical but even more brutal. It’s furious yet delicate and complex and always engaging. Takaru give us three songs of the intense hardcore that they are quickly becoming well known for. Dueling vocalists deliver furious lyrics dissecting the workings of our mixed up world with an acute anger and passion that is hard to ignore. Delivering three songs in under four minutes, Takaru rarely lets up their immense wall of noise, simply allowing it to swing from thrashy and blistering to plodding and doomy.
taint "the ruin of nova roma" 2xlp
taint manage to combine the sound of the glory days of the rise of stoner rock back in the late 70ss with the new breed of monstrously riff drenched slower sludge bands perfectly .. and add in their very own blend of how to rock .. a leaning towards sludge but on a much grander scale as if possessed by the eeurosis grandoise machine .. taint manage to hone dynamics in a song much better than most .. kyuss meets helmet or keelhaul meets hot water music .. there are some comparisons to other bands flying around that do not seem fair to what taint does .. for instance a lot of people have talked about their sound being similar to that of mastodon .. but there are plenty of other bands that fall closer to taints sound than mastodon because taint is more focused on a continuum between heavy, slightly punk based riffing and more expansive contemplative movements .. [superfi records]

taylor bow lp
Urbane shrieks, wilting shadows, and crumbling panoramas. 15 song LP by this enigmatical NYC coterie. Pressed on black vinyl, sheathed in extra heavy 28 pt. "old style" tip-on jackets and resealable shiny poly bags. Lim. to 600 copies. There is a dying plebeian ambivalence to the ghastly creaks and tragedies of New York City. Only here can one man come up against another, individually in a void, and speak collectively to the disintegration of his being. A city where the deluge of beauty is mystified by the constant groan of economy undermining a perpetually dissolving modernity. As it looms, it showers upon us the debris of its newest and most ragged disharmonies to stimulate our malignant activities and applaud the constant awakening of our intangible reality. These luminous sights, sounds, and sensations of this mythological frontier are but mere scuffles and flurries under the crumbling stone and iron exposed to the decay and the terror of the overwhelming shadows that engulf us .. [youth attack]
teargas lp
New on Hardcore Victim records. Australian hardcore inspired by Japanese bands like Deathside, Nightmare and Judgement. Bombastic and powerful with crushing riffs, searing vocals, thunderous drums, pummeling bass and blazing guitar. [harcore victim records]
tempers rise/los asesinos de la... split lp
los asesinos takes most of its musical inspiration from the kind of early 90s emo .. labels like gravity ebullition vermiform were known for .. easily one of the most amazing bands to come out of the dutch punk community in quite some time .. they combine this with intelligent anarchist lyrics and politics .. tempers rise does some amazing emotional harsh hardcore very much reminiscent of a later more chaotic born against meets honeywell .. great record .. [coalition wastedyouthpower degraanerepublik]
terminal youth "same" lp
totally fast and chaotic thrash hardcore from these boston kids .. fast explosions that wind into fast circle pit parts .. blasting yet again into the crazed fast thrashy raw hardcore .. only slowing down at a few parts to pause and get you ready for the next blast .. [tovlivealie givepraise]
the afternoon gentlemen "pissedography" lp
29 track LP compiling tracks from TAG's first 5 'proper' releases: TAG/Cyborg split 7", TAG/OSK split 7", 'Pissed Again' 7" and the 'Afterdoom' CD EP. [tvg records]
the toll "s/t" lp
THE TOLL is a sprawling tornado of blown out wreckage helmed by prolific visionary, Will Killingsworth (FAILURES, VACCINE, AMPERE, COMPLAINTS, etc.). This debut LP showcases two long and lurching compositions of landslide riffs, buried shrieks, and black fog drones culminating in a deluge that collapses upon any reason to exist. This edition features handsome matte varnished black lined jackets and heavy, uncoated black lined "euro" sleeves, and cut to 180 gm vinyl. [youth attack]
thou/leech split lp
a split record with two bands exploring the depths of human negativity, each in a different and unique manner. going into the inner self, LEECH create total depression and self-hatred with their atmospherical, progressive black metal, switching between droning ambience and collapsing fast blast beat fury. More expressive, THOU go for outward aggression with their well-known brutal wall of sludge/doom sound and molest the listener with irresistible dangerous ugliness. a perfect team up of these two acts. [vendetta]
thou/mohoram atta split lp
this split contains 4 songs from Thou, including their Minor Threat cover "Screamin' at a Wall." If you haven't heard their cover of this song, it rules. The split side of the record brings us Mohoram Atta, whom I hadn't heard before, but are fairly awesome. A great mix between fast, thrashy pissed off hardcore and sludging riffage. They site His Hero is Gone, Cursed and "Fuckin Black Metal" amongst their influences, that about sums it up. [feast of tentacles]
thou/salome split lp
another killer release - combining two ugly, brutal, slow and heavy bands. southerners THOU come with thick slugdecore that doesn't fear occasional hymnical moments and quiet interludes before falling again into an abyss of black, hateful slowliness. virginia based SALOME instead serve stripped down stark sludge, doom and prove that it needs no more than drums, a guitar and a vitriol filled voice to deliver nothing but pure hatred. [vendetta]
the wankys "knock one out" lp
Third LP by these lovely arseholes. A little less noisy than past efforts, and a little more silly. Three English gentlemen, ex-members of all your favorite UK bands, goof off and have a bit of pervy old guy fun. But despite all the silliness, they manage to write both really catchy mid-tempo snotty punk anthems and really chaotic, harsh short/fast/loud hardcore numbers that capture their noise spirit. Obviously to be filed next to your Swankys records, but I think the Wankys have found their own noise-punk niche in the past few years, developing their own unique sound, style, and attitude unlike any other. I guess that's what the insight of age/experience can give you. [sphc]
the wankys "noise punk live hero swindle" lp
The Wankys made this fake live recording several years ago and it includes 9 songs from the 1st ep/LP era of the band. The recording is inspired by the classic Chaotic Dischord live in NY LP that Riot City released 26 years ago, it's total nonsense and full of stupid bullshit.just 320 of these pressed with 60 copies shelved due to damaged covers. [noise punk records]
the wankys "the very best of hero" lp
The very best of Hero, their first full lenght, is a masterpece of noise punk. 14 tracks of trebble ladden madness that will knock you down. The recipe goes like this: an insane amount of guitar saturation + primitive 1x1drumming + bass lines driving the song + lyrics about subject as deep as glue sniffing = This LP! A must for Fans of GAI, early CONFUSE, DISORDER or CHAOS CH and a NO for melody fans. [la vida es un mus]
the whorehouse massacre "IV" lp
this has it all .. sludge, industrial, noise .. but occasional haunting, almost melodic moments .. inspired by the murders of robert william pickton .. this is a sick nightmarish lucio fulci soundtrack .. rotten hopelessness and perdition dominate the album .. adding blends of violent, grinding outbursts .. lofi black metal aesthetic .. but still produced healthy .. the superb artwork for the coversleeve and the 8 paged booklet is from scott stearns and transports perfectly the misanthropic brutality .. limited to 400 copies .. [streaksrecords]
titan "colossus" lp
quoting influences such as the early material of doom pioneers NEUROSIS, canadian hardcore legends URANUS and metal/hardcore masters CONVERGE, TITAN has managed to create something powerful, extreme and ultimately unique. the allure of TITAN's immense and brutal sound is once more present in their newest full length called "colossus" - their best recorded stuff so far! Housed in an eyecatching gatefold cover! [react with protest]
titan "the chrysanthemum pledge" lp
titan are ex i spoke and panserbjorne hailing from canada .. heavy destructive hardcore with influences from uranus, buried inside or june paik .. [react with protest]
torche "same" lp
stoner pop has never existed quite like the mindblowing debut release from miami, flordia's TORCHE .. it was hinted at by the singer/songwriter steve brooks' former group Floor, founded by the mighty Black Sabbath and nearly accomplished by mainstreamers Queens of the Stone Age .. but truly anthemic, triumphant and absolutely massive heavy metal has never been so damn catchy .. with gloriously sung, harmonized and soaring vocal arrangements accompanying the most monolithic riffs of modern times, TORCHE reaches to push the envelope and then engulfs it in flames .. TORCHE are destined to ride high among the leaders of this incredible new era of heavy metal .. [robotic empire]
tortyr "ingar kommer undan" lp
debut lp from these swedish raw punks .. after their split 7" with warvictims this is their 1st full length .. killer stuff .. for fans of skit system, martyrdöd etc .. limited to 500 copies .. [D-takt & Råpunk]
toru okada "same" lp
excellent seven song lp from texas' toru okada .. this lp has a very early 90's emocore feel to it .. heartfelt songs about friends love etc crammed into a 16 page booklet .. this record rules .. [shock value records]
towers "same" lp
12 new amzing songs of explosion bursting with feedback and noise .. their sound falls somewhere between old man gloom and early isis material with a pinch of orchid in the mix .. get this epic chaos doom piece before all other do .. i have a few with limited silkscreened tourcover .. [react with protest]
trencher "when dracula..." lp
trencher a london,uk based threesome deliver 14 brutal casio powerviolence tracks in under 17 minutes and thats including the hidden track at the end of the album. walking in to the sound of trencher is akin to walking into your living room to find locust thrashing it out with crossed out over a particularly competitive game of twister. for those hermetic souls unfamiliar with trenchers racket. it amounts to more noise than should plausibly be wrought from a drum kit, bass guitar, dysfunctional keyboard and set of vocal cords. each of the 14 tracks on this 17 minute album is a micro symphony of anarchic explicity - sex, death, anger and essentially a sense of humor drive these nasty (sound) bites of trencher's self proclaimed casiogrindcore. all copies come on pink vinyl. [crucificados]
trencher "lips" lp
2nd album from londons leading casio grindcore power trio .. bass, drums, screams and toy keyboards .. what more do you need .. trenchers debut album for southern "lips", is a bludgeoning feast of pummelling abstract metal punctuated by yells hollers and the occasional keyboard assault .. moving on from the blink and you will iss it grindcore absurdity of their debut album having surely honed the genre of the one minute casio metal song to utter perfection .. trencher on this record are virtually prog in comparison with their old self, chucking out songs of over three minutes and experimenting with new song structures .. [southern records]
uncurbed "back from the ditch" lp
latest album by those swedish veterans .. the d-beat band with the biggest death metal background around .. this one is pretty different from the previous "welcome to the anarcho city" .. Uncurbed downtuned their guitars and got heavy and loud as hell .. call it d-beat but it is more close to an earthquake .. [agipunk]
unearthly trance/the endless blockade split lp
New York doom metal juggernaut UNEARTHLY TRANCE offer up a side long onslaught of d-beat and doom before plummeting deep into the noise depths while Toronto's THE ENDLESS BLOCKADE combine power-violence and power-electronics to brutal effect. [chromepeeler records]

utarid/afbtc/am i dead yet/the mock heroic split lp

vaginors "nuclear papsmear" lp
Mixing the fantastic, idiotic, and downright absurd, this is the debut LP from Australian punk heroes VAGINORS! An explosion of high energy tunes taking influence from both classic 77 punk and early Japanese noise-core. VAGINORS tread the line between obnoxious pop and hardcore rock-n-roll with pounding bass lines, searing guitars, and some of the most insane vocals you will hear outside a CRUCIFUCKS record. For fans of THE DAMMNED, DISORDER, SWANKYS, CHAOS CHANNEL, CONFUSE, and DEVO. 8 tracks of retarded rock-n-roll noise complete with machine guns, crying babies, and RAMMSTEIN samples. Off-the-wall and totally addictive! [hardcore victim]
valhalla pacifists/prumslova smrt split lp

[keep screaming records]
valley boys "s/t" lp
New Toronto, Canada band including Jon Sharron who used to be in bands like BRUTAL KNIGHTS, URANUS, CHOKEHOLD etc. and also plays in HASSLER and CAREER SUICIDE. This band also has folks from SCHOOL JERKS and VAPIDS. Reminds me of Brutal Knights in a dirty KBD garage. [cut the chord that records]
veuve ss/meurthe split lp
VEUVE S.S. is definitely related to self-hatred, disgust and frustration. Niling the raw, noisy, devastating mood of bands like Void, Die Kreuzen or Sex/Vid, these three songs rippin' at 45 RPM made of manic vocals raging over noisy, blown out, intense hardcore, offer the occasional and necessary retreat for normal and socially well-established people, who want to release the burden of their inner thoughts, such as we all try to do. MEURTHE from Lyon, France represents the minimalist, anxiety induced and half improvised one man project of T.J. Handmade sounds are leaking through the unique track Ulrike Meinhof. It's about melodies, sound waves and floating rhytms shaping the limits of the dark drone that is present here. Pro printed and hand assembled LP Cover + inlay sheets. Limited to 200 copies on white w/ both sided silkscreenprint. [nerdcore records]
victims "killer" lp
fourth lp from sweden's victims .. victims have been the front of swedish hardcore for many years mixing traditional swedish dbeat and crust sounds with more straight forward american hardcore influences .. this lp has all the tight and crushing arrangements you'd expect from this crew .. a few more songs leaning towards the dbeat rocknroll end of hardcore .. but over all very much in the same punishing tradition of the last two lps .. [havoc records]
victims "divide and conquer" lp
third full length from swedens victims .. they flawlessly mix two styles of music .. early 80s american hardcore and swedish crust .. this record rises to the challenge of mixing two such potent styles with great vigor .. really hot memorable riffs and smoking guitar work from jon lindqvist (also of accursed, nasum, saayadina etc) and johans vocals sound like he has been gargling with napalm .. victims on this release have reached a point where skill and experience have culminated in one totally raging track after another .. without changing their sound, selling out or crossing over .. [havoc records]
violent breakfast "nient altro che tempo" lp
from pisa, italy .. these guys grew so much from their last record .. in fact here we have 8 new songs .. still into gravity styled screamo but now with heavy postrock influences alike mogwai, godspeed you black emperor .. for fans of raein, la quiete .. [shove records]
vivisick "respect and hate" lp
Great manic hardcore / thrash band from Tokyo / Japan. Fast powerfull songs with choral vocals which reminds me legendary bands like Systematic Death or Gauze. Band released two seveninches, split seveninch, many songs on compilations and split LP with Mukeka Di Rato on Sound Pollution records. [insane society]
voco protesta "voro al libereco" lp
Tokyo's VOCO PROTESTA blend the best of the last fifteen years of Japanese distorted hardcore with the early 80’s European punk attitude. Their sound has changed a touch since their three 7"s - It’s more dynamic, perhaps less CONFUSE and more CRUDE SS. However, their ideas are still the same, highly idealistic anarchist lyrics about a better world sang in Esperanto. Their sonic approach is still distorted, primitive and urgent. Fast and angry. 'Vojo el Libereco' is a classic slice of raw hardcore for any fans of GLOOM, FRAMTID, FRIGORA and other masters of the black and white high contrast artwork.
voetsek "the castrator album" lp
in a very short time san franciscos voetsek has become one of the best hardcore/thrash bands the united states has to offer .. melding the fury of good old hardcore punk with early crossover speed metal .. voetsek conjures images of a young accused and comparisons to everything from municipal waste to charles bronson .. this new full length contains no less than 40 songs of relentless hispeed hijinx in a span of 25 minutes .. complete with massive metal riffing, catchy hooks and pounding breakdowns all complimented by the vocal savagery of ami lawless on the mic .. this lp is sure to be a landmark of modern thrashcore for years to come .. [six weeks]

One sided 12” MLP, other side etched. Limited to 400 units only! [btc records]
vogue "pompshit" lp
Plenty of folks who grew up with hardcore have since moved onto its noisier or artier or less traditional cousins. VOGUE's "Pompshit" is sourced in the early 1980's loose booty Hardcore-Punk with some hints into the tightly wound treble spray of early '90s noise-rock. It's an ugly sound - sometimes frenzied and sometimes totally entropic. Unlike so much music in 2010, VOGUE doesn't want to inflate your sense of euphoria. The songs on the record are what you can expect from VOGUE - harsh, raw, unexpected tempo juggling. They want to stub out enthusiasm like a cigarette on a forehead. If you like their former stuff you'll love these tracks! [hardware records]
walls "2nd" lp
Mean, raw, thoroughly sick-making hardcore that draws from the likes of Black Flag, Swans and Rorschach as it skulks the course of two hate-filled songs, all shrieking feedback, wilfully awkward shifts in focus and bloodthirsty gnashings of teeth. This 12" takes away the noise of their previouse records, its straight up in your face. Plain and simple and raw. Awesome! [iron lung records]
walls "the future is wide open" lp
Walls are basically everything a hardcore band should be these days. Aggressive, provoking and unsettling. Their music has been described as brooding and downright scary at times. They are heavy and fast but with plenty of room for slower and creepy parts. They remind me of the first times I heard a Born Against record. The mixture of pissed off lyrics with such fitting music. Or maybe Dead and Gone, with their basslines and dissonant guitars who make you feel miserable each time you put on their record. You know how some bands are described with images of axes, hammers or other equipment to just describe how brutal they are? Well, Walls are like knives. You don’t see them coming but you can feel they are here. Bleak and harsh. This is rage. This is the European pressing, Iron Lung records will be handling the US version. [de graanrepubliek]
warning//warning "there's nothing left" lp
First full-length from these Bordeaux, France noisemakers, what you have here are 11 songs of frantic noisy hardcore that just released in time for their november US TOUR. Getting more and more a style on their own, this album has more noisier, repetitive stuff than the 7". [kick rock records]
warcollapse "crap, scrap and unforgivable slaughter" lp
This is the follow-up to the 2003 cover 7" on First Blood Family. This time around the band has set their aim for the 80's Nordic scene and have taken on one track each from Missbrukarna, Bannlyst, War of Destruction, Rattus and Purrkur Pillnikk and put them through the crust as fuck filter that is the Warcollapse sound. [blindead productions]

weekend nachos "bleed" lp
2 brand new crushing tracks making up 14 minutes of despair inducing delirium! A bit of a different direction than Unforgivable, but no less abrasive, hard, and deadly! going from fast, blasting powerviolence, broken up by periods of doomy sludge of their early records to mostly doomy sludge broken up by periods of speed, taking more of a GRIEF and DYSTOPIA-influenced approach. [relapse]
weekend nachos "unforgiveable" lp
on this 2nd full length WEEKEND NACHOS still has some of that unique mixture .. this LP contains 12 tracks of fast, brutal, power-violence hardcore .. they take the raw thrash of bands like INFEST and LACK OF INTEREST and throw in the doom and sludge of EYEHATEGOD to create an ugly mix of hardcore and metal .. one of the year's best .. hands down and if you like hate filled hardcore and constantly feel like taking out someone, your life is constantly weighed down by constant shit this LP is for you no joke .. [deep six]
weekend nachos "punish and destroy" lp
chicagos weekend nachos blaze through 25 songs of high powered violence on this debut full length .. they take the raw thrash of bands like infest and lack of interest and throw in the doom and sludge of eyehategod to create an ugly mix of hardcore and metal .. heavy, brutal, blazing fast and punishing slow with hate filled lyrics .. uptight melodic hardcore losers should probably refrain from picking this up .. [cowabunga records]
white guilt "s/t" lp
The debut LP from Syracuse, New York's WHITE GUILT. Absolutely ballistic, noisy, reverb drenched hardcore that smashes all contemporaries. After two well received demos, the band makes their vinyl debut on Video Disease records with 11 songs. Could definitely see fans of Cult Ritual, Raw Nerve and The Men digging this. The band took months to craft the music and packaging that is brought to you today. The sleeves have a beautiful matte finish, and the vinyl is housed in black dust sleeves. This record is limited to 500 copies. [video disease records]

whitehorse "document 250407" lp
Recorded live to air at PBS FM Melbourne the band at the time considered these songs unfinished or works in progress when they were captured. 2 and a half years later the songs were released on tape. But finally and happily considered to be too good too stuck on Tape, only. 2 songs clock in at 20 minutes and pressed on 45rpm for a maximum sound. Heavy vibes and always great grooves! If you like CORRUPTED, KHANATE or MOSS you will praise WHITEHORSE. I don't think there is any empty frequency on the record. [blind date records]

zyanose "noise philia 2005-2011" lp
Osaka’s distortion masters ZyanosE have been creating the most blown out, ear piercing noise to come out of Japan for the past 10 years. This LP compiles all their recorded works to date, including both EP’s, the first demo and comp tracks . You can hear the progression of the band from the Confuse-esque noisecore of the Crossing EP to the Gloom style Loveless EP and falling into their own "Insane Noise Raid" sounds on the Yotsuva and HEAL comps. This is one of the most important collections of Japanese noisecore from the past decade, from the people doing it best. Don’t miss this. [540 records]
